on September 19, rear-admiral Hervé de Bonnaventure, commander of the Naval Aviation (ALAVIA) has recognized Commander Bertrand Lepoutre as new commander of the FLOTTILLE 11F. After this change of command ceremony, a second ceremony led by ALAVIA, marked the transformation of Flottille 11F from the Super Etandard Modernise to the Rafale M.

11F should reach full operational capability on the Rafale by the summer of 2012. The transition leaves 17F as the sole operator of the SEM.
